About Beth

DSC_0028As part of my deep commitment to community service, social justice and environmental issues, I founded the Insight Garden Program at San Quentin (and now Solano) Prisons – a transformative gardening program designed to reconnect men to themselves, their communities, and the natural environment — so they become productive members of society when they leave!

With demand for our program from California to New York, IGP is now scaling up for national expansion!

To learn more about why I started this program, check out the book: EcoAmazons: 20 Women Who Are Transforming The World by Dorka Keehn, with photos by Colin Finlay. And join our crowdfunding campaign, #IGPgogo, so we can sow seeds for national expansion!
